About 80 women in charge of educational and administrative responsibilities within Jewish communities across Europe attended a professional seminar in Venice, Italy.
The gathering was held for the third consecutive year by CHANA, the European Forum for Jewish Women, a Brussels-based organization led by Chana Margolin.
The women had the opportunity to learn how to deal with educational problems in the absence of professional institutions, management priorities and guidance on relationships.
A mem ber of European Jewish Association (EJA), CHANA was established 4 years ago with a mission to provide professional support to women dealing with education and administrative positions in Jewish communities in Europe.
Besides seminars, CHANA organizes professional courses and trainings.
The Venice seminar was made possible by the Matanel Foundation, the European Jewish Development Fund (EJDF) and the Shapira family from Tel Aviv.
