                  26.01.2014, Anti-Semitism

                  Mikhail Frenkel, a veteran Jewish journalist from Kyiv, explained how Jews relate to the mass rallies in Ukraine and stressed three important points while speaking at the Israeli radio channel REKA. The points were:

                  a) Maidan is occupied with Ukrainian problems and isn't paying much attention to the Jewish question;

                  b) we do not know who is behind antisemitic acts in Kyiv, but the crime was not done by the mainstream elements of the Maidan;

                  c) the irresponsible Jews that sign their calls for an evacuation of Jews as 'the Jewish fighting units' provoke anti-Semitic sentiment in Ukraine.
