Ukrainian activist Stanislav Fyodorchuk recounted a blood-curdling tale of a female Jewish volunteer who was captured by terrorists in the Donbass region.

The volunteer moved to Kyiv after the creation of the puppet “Donetsk People's Republic” in Russian-occupied parts of the Donbass region.

She returned to Donetsk to visit her mother. Early in the morning, terrorists from the self-proclaimed “Ministry of State Security of the Donetsk People's Republic” broke into their house. According to the volunteer, two packs of sniper rifle bullets and a stick of dynamite with a fuse were planted on her person, and she was accused of being a sniper for the “Right Sector.”

The captive volunteer was taken to an insulation material factory turned into a prison by the terrorists. She was regularly kicked and beaten with metal reinforcement bars used in construction, and given practically no food and water for three weeks. When her torturers learned that she was pregnant, they began intentionally hitting her in the stomach According to the volunteer, who did not conceal that she was a Jew, the torturers said that they would be killing “a zhydobandera” in this way (“bandera” being a derogative term for patriotic Ukrainians; “zhyd” being the Russian term for “kike” and used in all sorts of racial slurs concerning Jews). The young woman was forced to repent for working together with the “Right Sector” and the “Tornado” batallion in front of the local media.

She was held captive by the terrorists for approximately three months. International organizations and Vladimir Ruban, who is the chief Ukrainian negotiator in the matter of hostages, were all involved in freeing her. After they were finally successful, the volunteer was taken to Dniepropetrivsk for medical aid. Her story was confirmed on Facebook by doctors from the Mechnikov Dniepropetrivsk regional hospital. The child survived.
