                  Conference on anti-Semitism begins work in Kiev

                  The International conference "What is anti-Semitism the name of?" began work on the premises of the Kiev office of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress.
                  The aim of the conference is to create an intellectual field for the analysis of contemporary problem of anti-Semitism and to develop critical discourse that reflects it on the intersection of social, historical and visual dimensions. The combination of academic language of comprehension of anti-Semitism and analytical approaches in contemporary art will further to form the reflective public context of consideration of this problem today.
                  Specialists in cultural studies, philosophy, sociology, history, contemporary art will all take part in the conference.
                  The conference has been organized by the Centre for Studies of History and Culture of East European Jews, NaUKMA, with the participation of NaUKMA Visual Culture Research Centre (VCRC)., NaUKMA Center of European Humanitarian Studies, NaUKMA journalism school, French Cultural Center in Ukraine (Kiev), Polish Institute in Ukraine (Kiev).
                  The conference will continue up to the 26th of February.
