EAJC Statement in Connection With Terrorist Attack in Moscow
29.03.2010
The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) recieved the information about the explosions in the Moscow metro with pain and anger. Dozens of people became victims of these horrible acts of terrorism.
EAJC decisively states that terror can have no justification, let alone any political perspectives.
We are certain that the Russian government and the global community will take an irreconciable attitude towards the terrorists. We hope that the law-enforcement organs of Russia will be able to prevent further similar tragedies.
We state out solidarity with the government of Russia, which, despite the tragedy that transpired, is doing everything within its power to prevent terroristic activity and to provide for the safety of Russian citizens.
We present our condolences to the family and friends of those who were injured in this inhuman crime, and are confident in that those guilty will suffer the penalty they deserve.
