EAJC Statement on Murder of Jewish Family in Itamar
14.03.2011 The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress has received the news of the horrible terroristic act in the Israeli settlement Itamar with pain and anger.
The cruel murder of a family of five, of whom three were children, has once again shown the true, inhuman face of the terrorists. However they would call themselves, their actions leave them but one single name – murderers.
We hope that this bloody crime will serve as a sobering reminder to those politicians and representatives of the so-called liberal society that are trying to explain or justify the activities of the terrorists. The murder of peaceful people, especially little children, cannot be justified by any political, religious, or historical motives. Such bloody crimes cannot be perceived by any normal person as anything but a challenge to morality and human nature.
We hope that this ruthless crime will not remain without punishment, and the murderers of children will be found and subjected to a just and strict punishment.
We present our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. May their souls be in peace.
