Children's Camp “Roots of Tolerance” to Take Place in Moldova
30.06.2011 On August 17-27. the International Children's Camp "Roots of Tolerance" will be held in Moldova for the first time.
The camp is to take place in the park belt of Vadul lui Voda, at the "Dachia" recreation camp. The children will be living in new comfortable rooms (3-4 people to a room, with all amenities included), The program includes visits to a swimming pool.
Each day at the camp is dedicated to one of the ethnic groups of Moldova and its activities. The children will be learning the languages, songs, dances, history, and traditions of each people during the day, and the evening will hold an event in that ethnicity's style. The camp has experienced councillors and young teachers from national communities.
The camp is for children from 12 to 17 years of age, who are interested in the history and culture of Moldova's people, and who can share their own people's culture and traditions, who want to make new friends and understand, together with other children, how representatives of different cultures can live in peace and concordance.
