The leaders and workers of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress are proud to congratulate EAJC General Council Chairman Josef Zisels on his 65th anniversary!

Josef Zisels was one of the activists who were at the roots of the largest regional Jewish structure. Throughout the years, he directed its programs, and it is obvious to anyone who has ever worked with the EAJC that its success is in many ways indebted to the persistence, organizational skills, and everyday painstaking work of the General Council chairman.

Josef Zisels keeps up permanent working contacts with communities and inter-community structures of 25 countries of two continents, keeps track of the needs of every single organization, and organizes large-scale events and long term programs. Some of the programs Josef Zisels conceived and implemented, first and foremost connected ti the fostering of tolerance and counteracting xenophobia, became the Congress' calling cards.

We wish Josef Samoiylovich good health, new successes in his work for the good of the Jews of Eurasia, and great personal happiness! 65 years is only five years over half the term that the Almighty gives to the most deserving of the Jewish people, which means that there is much work and many great deeds ahead of Josef Zisels!
