On February 19-23, the 38th Session of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations took place in Israel. The Conference is one of the EAJC's long-term strategic partners, and the two organizations have organized a number of joint diplomatic missions to the countries of the Euro-Asian Region and the SAR. EAJC Deputy Secretary General, EAJC representative in Israel Haim ben Yakov took part in this session of the Conference.

Over 100 leaders from the most important Jewish structures of the USA and Canada participated in the session. Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and Mayor of Israel Nil Barkat both participated in the opening of the session.

The session included meetings with opposition leader Tzipi Livni, Minister of Information and Diaspora Yuli-Yoel Edelstein, Chief of General Staff Binyamin Gantz, Ambassador of USA to Israel Dan Shapiro, as well as with a number of editors-in-chief of main Israel media and leading scholars of national security and international political processes.
