Announcement: Festival of Languages on 24th of March in Tbilisi
22.03.2012 On March 24, an action group of Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) seminar graduates and the Union of Kurd Youth of Georgia will hold the first Georgian Festival of Languages with the aid of the EAJC and the UNITED international organization (Netherlands). The festival will be part of a program timed to the international days of ending racial discrimination. Over 20 languages will be presented at the festival, including languages of Georgian ethnic minorities.
This fascinating open-air event will take place in Tbilisi, and young activists will be presenting the diverse languages of Georgia, the Caucasus region, and all of Europe. Participants will be able to study often-used phrases in different languages, participate in competitions, enthralling performances and games. A multilingual atmosphere will be formed in the Deda Ena Gardens.
The festival will take place on March 24, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Deda Ena gardens, which are located in Tbilisi, 1 Sukhoi Most str.
Admission to the event is free.
