The second volume of 'Jews in Eastern Kazakhstan' by Nina Krutova is now in print. The first volume had been published in 2006. Nina Krutova has been researching the Jewish history of Kazakhstan since 1999. Her articles have been published in scholarly journals of Moscow, Barnaul, Gorno-Altaysk, Semipalatinsk, and Ust'-Kamenogorsk.

“Jews in Eastern Kazakhstan” is a collection of articles and essays about those Kazakhstan Jews who have made a significant impact on the history of their countries. According to EAJC Presidium Member, President of the Mitzvah Association of Jewish Communities of Kazakhstan Alexander Baron, “The publishing of this book is an important event for the Jewish community of Kazakhstan. Historic essays shed light on the biographies of worthy people, allowing them to remain in our memory, and also help our contemporaries fine their roots.”
