Director of the Moscow Office of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Natalia Schmidt has taken part in the research and practice conference “Who is the XXI Century Woman: Keeper of the Hearth or Business-Lady?” This conference, organized by the World Forum of Mountain Jewish Women, took place in the Central House of Advocates in Moscow.

The participants of the conference were greeted by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Russia Dorit Golender; merited lawyer of the Russian Federation, President of the Guild of Russian Advocates Gasan Mirzoyev, and member of the Director's Board of the Journalists' Union of Israel Victoria Dolinskaya.

The main report was given by the organizator and chairman of the Forum, Frida Yusufova, who is a public figure, a journalist, a member of the Writers' and Artists' Unions of Israel, and the author of many works dedicated to the rebirth of Juhuri – the Mountain Jew language. In her speech, she outlined the main tasks that the Forum is to tackle: the perfection of the education system of Jewish children and youth; the preservation of their native tongue and unique national culture; the support of women, including giving aid in finding a job and building a worthy career; building bridges with global women's organizations and leading Jewish structures.
According to the organizators, the Forum would like to become an international platform for the discussion of current problems of the Mountain Jew community, a place to build ties and exchange experience, and, in perspective, a place where an influential women's lobby could be created for the international arena.

In her speech to the participants of the conference, Natalia Schmidt stressed the similarity between the foundation of the Forum and the EAJC, and expressed her certainty that the two organizations will find mutually beneficial forms of cooperation.
