The Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Michael Chlenov has participated in the presentation of a hand-written Russian-Hebrew dictionary to the Museum of Jewish History in Russia. This two-volume dictionary was written in the 1970s for the underground study of Hebrew. It was presented to the museum on behalf of the Israel Cultural Center in Moscow under the aegis of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Russia.

The Director of the Israel Cultural Center Yana Agmon and the First Secretary of the Embassy of Israel Shlomo Voskoboynik presented this unique gift to the scientific advisor and curator of the museum, Hillel Kazovsky. Among the guests of the ceremony were participants of a seminar held for teachers of Hebrew in Moscow.

In his speech, Michael Chlenov shared his experiences from the time it had been illegal to teach Hebrew in Moscow.
