Jewish Community of Moscow Meets With Benjamin Netanyahu
21.11.2013 On November 21, 2013, representatives of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, headed by EAJC Secretary General Michael Chlenov, participated in a meeting between the Prime Minister of the State of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and the leaders and activists of Moscow’s Jewish organizations.
The leader of the Israeli government, in Moscow with a working visit, gave a short speech on the present and future of the Jewish state and the Jewish people. Then, answering Michael Chlenov’s question on the results of the PM’s minister to Moscow, Netanyahu gave a short summary about the negotiations that had been held with President of Russia Vladimir Putin, noting the necessity and importance of such meetings. After the official part of the visit ended, all the participants of the meeting had the opportunity to privately pose questions to Benjamin Netanyahu and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ze’ev Elkin.
