The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) expresses its solidarity with the Government and People of Israel in a situation of incessant attacks by Palestinian terrorists. Recently hundreds of missiles were fired at peaceful Israeli cities, including Jerusalem, the sacred city of three religions. Palestinian militants tried to infiltrate Israeli settlements and organize suicide bombings. Fortunately, thanks to the expanded missile defense system and the smooth work of the security services, the terrorist attacks have not yet cause human victims, but the population of the whole country lives in a state of constant anxiety and is under deadly threat.

Israel's response to what is going on has once again showed the difference between civilization and savagery, between a commitment to universal values and bloodthirsty cruelty. While inflicting highly precise strikes, Israel continues to send humanitarian aid caravans to Gaza and allows foreign countries to provide material support to the Palestinians. At the same time, the terrorist organization Hamas, which has become a political partner of the Palestinian Authority, continues to use "human shields" for the placement of its terrorist infrastructure.

EAJC strongly condemns the terrorist attacks on Israeli territory and unconditionally supports all measures taken by Israel to ensure the safety of its citizens and suppress terrorist activity. Today, Israel is once again at the forefront of the fight against the plague of XXI century — terrorism — and support for the Jewish state in this fight is not just a matter of political sympathies or antipathies, it is a question of humanity and common sense. EAJC calls on the leaders of all countries where its member Jewish communities reside to support the Jewish state in its confrontation with the terrorists.
