The House of Friendship of the People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan Conference Hall held a lottery for socially vulnerable children from the Jewish community. Each of the lottery’s tickets gave the right for a free prize. The lottery was timed to Shavuot and Children’s Day.

The charity event was prepared by the Chesed Polina Center and the Rimon Jewish Community center at the initative of Shaya Gershevich. The organizator of the event was unable to be present due to his health, but he sent his greetings, which read: “Dear children, the Children’s Foundation of Kazakhstan would like to congratulate you all on Children’s Day and wishes you health, success in your studies, and a peaceful sky. We are also holding a lottery with prizes for all!”

The lottery had 23 tickets, all of them with prizes. There were also 28 gift sets prepared for the children. The lottery was sponsored by the “Prague” Trading House, the Republican Library for Science and Education, and private persons. After the celebration, the children were treated to ice cream.
