On June 2, 2015, the Chairman of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress General Council, Co-Cairan of the Association of Jewish Communities and Organizations (VAAD) Ukraine Josef Zisels and the UCSJ Director of International Bureaus and Activities Dr. Leonid Stonov met with the Ambassador of the United States to Ukraine Geoffrey R. Pyatt, and then held negotiations with USAID leaders at the American embassy.

 

The discussion concerned possible joint programs in human rights and fostering tolerance. Josef Zisels also answered a number of Pyatt’s questions about how the Ukrainian Jewish community views the situation in Ukraine.
