EAJC Statement in connection with the murder of Israelis in Samaria

                  02.10.2015, Region

Days of the High Holidays in Israel have been overshadowed by the brutal murder of Eitam and Naamah Henkin from the Neria village in the district of Benjamin. They were shot by terrorists before the eyes оf their children.
Anger and outrage causes not only the brutal murder but also the approval of this cynical crime by a number of Palestinian structures and politicians. Familiar and predictable was the reaction of the Palestinian "street", welcomed the "heroism" of murderers.
The crime happened just at the time when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the UN General Assembly about the readiness to resume direct peace negotiations with the Palestinian leadership. Promotion of terrorism and condoning terrorists once again demonstrated the true attitude of the second side to the reconciliation with Israel.
EAJC unconditionally approves any measures to be taken by the Israeli authorities to punish the murderers and their accomplices. There can be no justification and there should be no mercy for terrorists.
EAJC alongside the people of Israel mourns the deceased and brings deep condolences to their families and relatives.
