As part of his working visit to the United States, the Chairman of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress General Council, Co-President of VAAD Ukraine Chairman Josef Zissels spoke in Washington, at the National Democratic Institute, as part of the panel discussion “A search for a mature Ukrainian statehood: Ukraine and the matter of national minorities” with a lecture titled “Ukraine and the Jews in conditions of a geopolitical and national choice.”

On that same day, Josef Zissels met with President of the Ukrainian World Congress Eugene Czolij (Canada) and President of the Crimean Tatar World Congress Refat Chubarov (Ukraine - Crimea).
