November 15 in Moscow, Mikhail Chlenov, Secretary General of Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, on behalf of the EAJC laid a wreath in memory of victims of the barbaric terrorist acts in Paris at the French Embassy, and left a note in the condolence book. The day before, on Saturday evening, an official statement of the EAJC in connection with the terrorist attacks in the French capital was transmitted to the chancellery of the Embassy.
EAJC Secretary General said: "Among the many flowers and candles left by Muscovites at the French Embassy, there are bouquets with Israeli flags and candles decorated with stars of David. It is understandable– Russian Jews, the Jews of the former USSR, who has hundreds of relatives and friends in Israel, not by hearsay know and understand what terrorism is. The citizens of the Jewish state are under constant terrorist attacks. On the same day, when there were bloody attacks in Paris, Palestinian terrorists killed two people in Israel. Terrorism - this is our common problem, a problem that we all need to fight together."
