Jasa Alfandari, President of the Jewish Community of Montenegro, member of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress General Council visited the Jewish Community of Kosovo, with the aim to provide this small but valuable Community assistance in terms of organization.
During the visit Alfandari and Votim Demiri, president of the Jewish community in Kosovo met with Kadri Veseli, head of the Kosovo parliament. At the meeting, held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, they discussed the situation of the Jews in Kosovo, the question of power structures relations with ethnic minorities and the development of tolerance in the society.
Votim Demiri noted the import role of the Jewish community in Montenegro in support of the Kosovo community.
