Haim Ben Yaakov, Director General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) took part in the Conference of the Israeli Diplomats Association. At the conference was opened an exhibition dedicated to the major milestones of the diplomatic service of the Jewish state.
Shimon Peres, ex-President of the State of Israel, head of the Israeli diplomacy in different years, get the Diplomacy Award for 2015,"for his contribution to the development and strengthening of the external relations of the country." At the award ceremony the ninth president of Israel spoke about the establishment of the diplomatic service of the Jewish state and about his vision of diplomacy.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry sees one of its important tasks in cooperation with international Jewish organizations and community leaders. EAJC leadership, in turn, maintains regular contact with the management and the substantive divisions of the Israeli diplomatic corps; community leaders and organizations, members of Congress, are in constant interaction with the diplomatic missions of Israel in their countries.
