This year The Jewish community in Montenegro commemorated the International Holocaust Remembrance Day by the joint program with the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and the Ministry of Education in the gymnasium "S.Škerović". Members of the community paid tribute to the victims of Nazism and warned the public about the danger of forgetting wicked crime.
It was presented the TV movie "Camp Address", preceded by the opening words of Yasha Alfandari, Presiden of the Jewish community in Montenegro; Dr. Suad Numanovich, Minister for Human and Minority Rights; Zoje Bojanic-Lalovic, the headmaster of the Gymnasium; Vesna Kovacevic, professor of history.
Joint assessment is that this program should be used for strengthening joint forces against the racial hatred and of all deviant phenomenon. As the speakers noted, by constant repetition, and highlighting the memory of the victims, survivors, rescuers and liberators, we can prevent resurrection of Nazi ghosts.
