                  Head of Kazakhstan Jewish community working meetings in New York

                  Within the framework of his working visit to the United States, Alexander Baron, head of the Jewish community of Kazakhstan, member of the Presidium of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) held in New York a series of meetings. He met with Robert Singer, Executive Vice-President of the World Jewish Congress (WJC); Michael Schneider, WJC Secretary General; Betty Ehrenberg, Executive Director of the American Jewish Congress; Susan Greene, Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) in New York. Meetings were attended by Mikhail Nemirovsky, Director of the JCRC Russian Department.
                  Alexander Baron told American colleagues about the projects and programs of Jewish community of Kazakhstan. The sides exchanged views, made a series of cooperation agreements.
                  The head of the Jewish community of Kazakhstan gave an interview to the oldest American Russian-language radio "Hope" and the Russian-speaking radio "Together" (Chicago).
