At the invitation of Sergei Stepashin, Chairman of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society (IOPS), Mikhail Chlenov, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Secretary General visited IOPS Center in Moscow.
At a meeting with Alexander Dolinin, Secretary of IOPS Chlenov spoke about the history and present day of the Congress. Dolinin told about the Society's current activities in the Middle East, its humanitarian and scientific projects. They discussed issues related to the edition of "Palestine collection". Chlenov noted that in late Soviet years "Palestine collection" ""was almost the only mouthpiece of the national Hebraic studies," and offered the support of the EAJC in saturating the edition by the Hebraic materials.
Dolinin introduced the guest with an exhibition devoted to the history of the Society. Chlenov invited IOPS representatives to visit the EAJC Moscow office.
