EAJC Secretary General met with Knesset member Yoel Razvozov
Yoel Razvozov, Knesset member from the "Yesh Atid" party visited Moscow at the invitation of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress. At the EAJC Moscow office he met with Mikhail Chlenov, Secretary General of the Congress. The meeting was attended by Natalia Schmidt, Executive Director of the EAJC Moscow office and Alexander Kargin, head of the "Shahar" Zionist movement.
Razvozov spoke about the position and activities of his faction in the Knesset, describing "Yesh Atid", as a "centrist party with an increasing rating."
As a member of the Knesset Committee for Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs and Chair of Israel-Kazakhstan and Israel-Turkmenistan Parliamentary Friendship Groups, Razvozov was interested in getting up to date information about the communities, members of the EAJC, particularly Kazakh and Turkmen. The sides exchanged views on a number of topical issues and discussed various possibilities of cooperation between "Yesh Atid" and EAJC.
The meeting also discussed activities of the faction "Yesh Atid" in the World Zionist Organization. In this context it was noted that the party is interested in developing sustainable relationships with the communities of the Diaspora, including with Russian.
