President of the Jewish community of Montenegro (Euro-Asian Jewish Congress member community), EAJC General Council member Jaša Alfandari and community Vice President Jelena Đurović took part in the annual Jewish Leaders Conference in Brussels, organized by the European Jewish Association. The representatives on Montenegro were also joined by their Serbian colleagues: Vice President of the Belgrade Jewish community Haris Daić and President of the Subotica Jewish community Robert Sabadoš.
The conference included a number of meetings on turning the site of the former Sajmište concentration camp in Belgrade into a Holocaust memorial. This was also discussed by the Balkan community representatives in their meetings with World Jewish Congress representatives at the WJC headquarters in Brussels.
