On September 27, a Cooperation Agreement for the “Tolerance – Lessons of the Holocaust” program was signed in Chisinau between the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, acting by its General Council Chairman Josef Zisels, and the Jewish community of the Republic of Moldova, acting by its Chairman Alexander Bilinkis, and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova, acting by the Minister of Education, Maia Sandu.
On September 27, representatives of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) have taken part in an event dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the “Diversity Initiative,” sharing their experience in propagating tolerance and counteracting xenophobia.
On October 6-8, the city of Bakuriani will host an international seminar on the EAJC program “Tolerance – Lessons of the Holocaust” for teachers of Georgian and Armenian non-Jewish middle schools.
On September 22, a meeting of the Expert Council of the Black Sea Peacebuilding Network (BSPN) has taken place in the office of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC). The meeting was titled “Identities and Conflicts.” The seminar was organized by the Center of Near East Studies in cooperation with the EAJC and the Congress of National Communities of Ukraine.
Members of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) leadership have taken part in a Rosh-ha-Shana gala organized by the Russian Jewish Congress (RJC) in the Moscow Radisson Ukraine hotel. Deputy Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Secretary General, EAJC representative in Israel Haim Ben Yakov has participated in the international conference “Justice for Jewish Refugees From Arabian Countries,” which took place in Jerusalem. The conference was organized by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the World Jewish Congress.

Director of the Moscow Office of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Natalia Schmidt has taken part in the research and practice conference “Who is the XXI Century Woman: Keeper of the Hearth or Business-Lady?” This conference, organized by the World Forum of Mountain Jewish Women, took place in the Central House of Advocates in Moscow.
On September 6, the Dostyk concert hall of Pavlodar (Kazakhstan) hosted a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Jewish cultural center “Merkaz” and the 80th anniversary of Faina Pavlovna Svechinsky, the one and only head of the center.
