On August 12, the International Children's Camp “Roots of Tolerance” ended its second shift in the Kremenitsy camp of Bukovina. Tatar, German, Polish, Russian, Romanian and Ukrainian children, as well as child refugees from Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and other flash points were able to immerse themselves into the national and religious cultures of different peoples. |

Center for University Teaching of Jewish Civilization ‘Sefer,’ working under the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) '' (Director - EAJC General Council member Dr. Victoria Mochalova, Chairman of the Academic Council – the EAJC Secretary General Professor Michael Chlenov) opened the annual program ''Eshnav,'' within the framework of which graduate and postgraduate students, and young researchers engaged in Jewish Studies in the FSU are selected by competitive process to be traditionally sent to Israel for a month-long internship. |

EAJC Secretary General Participates in Claims Conference Directorate Meeting |

The Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, Michael Chlenov, has participated in the anniversary session of the Claims Conference. The session was timed to the 60th anniversary of the Luxembourg Agreement, according to which Holocaust survivors began to receive reparations from Germany with the aid of the Claims Conference. |
