The Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, Professor Michael Chlenov, has participated in the opening ceremony of the 20th Annual International Jewish Studies Conference, which is taking place on February 3-5 in the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center in Moscow. As always, the conference was organized by the Sepher Center for University Teaching of Jewish Civilization, which is a part of the EAJC. |

The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress is deeply saddened by the passing of Peyretz Goldmacher, a prominent historian and one of the leaders of the Russian-speaking Jewish community of the USA. Peyretz Goldmacher, who passed away on January 27, was our older comrade, wise friend, and great colleague. He was 92. |

The memorial evening was organized by the Holocaust Foundation and Center, and took place on January 27 in the Great Hall of the Central House of Writers in Moscow. |
